The deadline to apply for the liquified petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders subsidy scheme has been extended and will now end on November 30. Addressing mediapersons on Tuesday, South Goa district collector N D Agrawal said that there was no reason for customers to panic and stated that the oil companies have allowed a grace period of three months till November 30.
The deadline to comply with the Aadhaar card formalities was supposed to end on August 31. The requirement to avail the subsidy includes linking of Aadhar cards to their bank accounts and providing aadhaar card details to the LPG dealers.



*Personal identification Document or Benefit Cards such as:
  • Scholarships
  • Pension ID
  • MNREGA Job Card
  • LPG Consumer ID
  • Other such similar identity documents with residents of India.
