 Ex-Nokia CEO Jorma Ollila says the former No. 1 mobile phone company made several mistakes at its peak, including failure to predict changing customers' needs.

In his autobiography, which translates from the Finnish as An Impossible Success, Ollila concedes that after 2001 the Finnish company was unable to sustain its role as the main innovator in the wireless industry. Several of its models flopped and it failed to sense popular trends such as folding clamshell handsets and touch screen models.

Facebook may changes privacy policy again

Times of India | Facebook has proposed "updates" to its privacy policies that explain how the social networking giant would use personal data of about 1.2 billion users to deliver advertising and other personalised services. The social network is proposing these updates as part of a settlement in a US court case relating to advertising, it said in a statement. The website has revised its two key documents -- Data Use Policy and Statement of Rights and Responsibilities -- to explain how a user's name, profile picture and content may be used in connection with ads or commercial content. LG to launch G2 in India on September 30

Times of India  South Korean manufacturer LG is all set to launch its G2 smartphone in India on September 30. The device was globally unveiled last month. LG has already sent out press invites for the September 30 launch event. The company has also posted several Facebook posts stating that G2 will arrive in India soon. LG is expected to price G2 between Rs 40,000-45,000 in the market. Most top smartphones launched in the country also fall in this price bracket, but some can be purchased for approximately Rs 35,000.
